Summary:

Under the supervision of Pins department head, the incumbent will program, set up and run Multi-Axis CNC lathe machines to prepare parts to the specifications for ongoing projects.

Job Terms:

Permanent, Full time position, shift rotation

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up and run Multi-Axis CNC lathe machines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work with limited supervision while staying on task to meet strict deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Solid machining and Multi-Axis CNC Lathe experience
• Knowledge of OKUMA and MAZAK CNC lathe controller programs is an asset
• Strong computer skills, MS applications savvy
• Willingness and ablity to learn required control software
• Availability to work shifts
• Ability to multi-task, while paying attention to detail
