Inspection Technician

Terms:

Permanent, full- time position.

Responsibilities:

• Program portable arms/trackers to effectively measure different products.
• Ensure the product passes certification test or process inspection.
• Prepare reports to describe studies and prepare documents and layouts.
• Occasional border crossing may be required.
• Keep the equipment and the work station clean at all times for most accurate results.
• Perform project work, while adhering to deadlines, as required.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in CMM, Romer arm, Leica laser trackers is preferred.
• Knowledge/experience in Polyworks software is a definite asset.
• Experience operating Milling machine, Surface grinder, Drill press, Hand tools and Precision instruments.
• Ability to read a blue print and GD&T interpretations.
• Ability to use MS Word & Excel computer applications.
• Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
