Summary:

The incumbent will operate manual welding equipment to weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Job Terms:

Permanent, Full time position

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
• Assist with maintenance and repair of welding and soldering equipment
• Adjust welding heads and tooling according to work specifications, as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrated experience in MIG/TIG welding in various positions
• Metal Fabrication experience is an asset
• Bridgeport experience is an asset
• GTAW/GMAW/FCAW/PAW/SMAW/OAW/SAW knowledge and/or certification is a definite asset
