Planner and Process Improvement Specialist
Summary:
Under the supervision and reporting to Manufacturing Management Team, the incumbent is responsible for the organization of production operations, develop a successful workflow, adapt to changing conditions, and develop new equipment, procedures, and policies to increase efficiency in all operations.
Job Terms:
Permanent, Full Time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure and optimize manufacturing process from inception through to start up and certification.
- Assess process, measure and interpret data.
- Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Practical experience in managing optimization systems in the Manufacturing setting
- CNC Machining & Programming experience is a strong asset
- Strong working knowledge of technical standards (TSSA, CSA and ANZI)
- Five S, 6-Sigma or Kaizen certifications are a strong asset
- Strong Computer skills: MS Office, HRIS or other related software is an asset
